In comparative testing of fill-fluid and fibre bundle designs, the Ronan FlexDetector measured 2.4 times greater output at low level exposure rates from 0.05 to 0.9 mR/hr, making this the safest and most reliable solution for your continuous level measurement applications.

The patented FlexDetector utilizes a non-hazardous, non-flammable scintillating fill-fluid, which is doubly encapsulated and protected by an outer sheath of armored conduit.

This newest flexible design offers unique advantages in reliability, sensitivity and temperature limitations over other designs, while the lightweight construction eliminates the need to employ cranes and rigging for installation.

This design is ideal for horizontal or spherical vessels, or parts of the vessels where space is limited. The FlexDetector is available in lengths up to 23 Feet (7 meters). For longer level measurements, up to six detectors can be summed in a single X96S computer giving an overall continuous level measurement up to 138 feet (42 meters.)
