System Components
The Ronan Density or Percent Solids Monitor consists of five basic components which include the source holder, mounting bracket, detector with housing, cable and electronic unit. The mounting bracket holds the source holder and detector with housing in a fixed position around the process pipe. An interconnect cable connects the detector to the remotely mounted electronic unit. This electronic unit can be located at a distance up to 5,000 feet from the detector. Electronic packages include panel mount, surface mount, rack mount, NEMA type 4 and NEMA type 4X enclosures.
